Ki Hyun Park is a female artist from South Korea working and living in Berlin. She puts social stereotype of being a woman and migrant at the forefront of her work. Ki Hyun Park twists the ideal symbolism that social identity generally implies through her own visual language of a quirky and kitsch reenactment.

To design a website where displays her works, I extended her main work concept by crafting an unusual user interface design that generates a conflict of symbolic language. Pop-up window detail page and kitsch commercial style fonts for each thumbnail present her work style — using rough collage and upfront expression way.
